Assam CM Urges Mamata Banerjee to Create a New Railway Zone For Northeast

railway northeast india Guwahati, Feb 15 : Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi has urged railway minister Mamata Banerjee to create a new railway zone exclusively for the North Eastern region.

In a letter to Banerjee recently and made available to the media today, Gogoi urged for inclusion of the proposal in the next railway budget in the interest of the people of the North Eastern region.
